You're invited to the Collins Center's free "Amendments Made Clear" event from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday October 29. This event will highlight the Collins Center's newly developed nonpartisan website, http://www.flamendments.org, that provides information on the proposed upcoming amendments to the Florida state constitution. Voters can interact one-on-one with the website by utilizing the information kiosks available at the event. There will also be a nonpartisan presentation outlining and analyzing the prospective amendments, and the affect they will have on voters if they pass. Lastly, there will be a video on general voter protocol presented by the Miami Dade County Election Reform Coalition.
Do not miss this event! Find out how proposed amendments to Florida's constitution can affect you! This community event is being supported by the InternetCoast, the Human Services Coalition and the Miami Dade County Election Reform Coalition.
